  • 2. Who are the hosts, and are they onsite?
Kayleigh, Henry, and their five children are your hosts at Upperfield Farm. While they don’t live onsite, they’re a stone’s throw away in the neighbouring village of Kirk Ireton. However, Henry grew up at Upperfield Farm and has lots of local knowledge to share with you.
  • 3. Are your self-catering properties dog-friendly?
Yes, and what’s more, there are 1, 3, and 7.5-mile trails on your doorstep to stretch those doggy legs. We ask that you let us know in advance, and we charge £20 to cover the additional cleaning our four-legged friends incur. This fee doesn’t apply to assistance animals.
  • 4. Are your self-catering properties child-friendly?
Yes. Most of our guests tend to be families with children of all ages, and because there’s no through road, it’s a safe space to play. Severn Trent, the water company that owns the reservoir, often organises nature trails designed for children. Cots and highchairs are available inside our properties, too.
