The Secret Hideaway, as its name suggests, is a little hidden retreat for couples nestled on the banks of Carsington Reservoir with nature trails and cycle paths on your doorstep.
Inside, it’s homely and brimming with character – peppered with original features like exposed beams and Derbyshire stone. At the same time, it’s fully equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay with us.
There’s a small patio area outside where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful reservoir view and soak up the tranquil surroundings.
Our guests tell us it’s the ideal base for walkers or cyclists to retreat to after a day spent outdoors. The reservoir itself offers 1, 3, and 7.5-mile walks, but this charming property is also on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
